If you have signed up a free Google account, just log in to use the free online service – Google Drive. Or you can find Drive in the top product list and then log in to edit scanned PDF.

Part 1. Edit a scanned PDF or image with Google Drive

1. Click the upload button > choose Files to select a PDF files for uploading or Folder to upload a file folder including those PDF files you want to edit.

2. Then you will see below dialog box, remember to select the checkbox of Convert text form PDF and image files to Google documents, it is a necessary option to make a PDF editable.

3. Google Drive will transfer the scanned PDF/ image to Google documents and now you can open it for editing.

4. Select the content you want to edit, generally, the selected content will look as a whole as it is a scanned PDF or image, click Edit > Cut, then the scanned contents will look like normal searchable and editable text and now you can edit or upldate information in Google Drive.

5. After editing the scanned PDF, you can download it as a searchable PDF.

Part 2. Use Google Drive as a PDF converter

Google drive not just lets you edit scanned PDF and image, but it also works as a PDF converter to help convert PDF files to other file formats like Word, Text and Html, etc.

1. Open the file as Google documents.

2. Click File > go to Download as > choose a file format from the list.

In past years, Apple has put tickets on sale simultaneously its announcement, but with tickets selling out in shorter and shorter amounts of time, it appears that Apple has decided to announce the on-sale time a day early in order to give developers equal chances at obtaining tickets. Tickets for WWDC 2012 sold out in less than two hours.

As was the case last year, Apple’s requirements for purchasing a ticket to WWDC include membership in one of the company’s paid developer programs. With the advance notice of ticket sales, Apple is also requiring that developers have been members of a paid program prior to today’s announcement, preventing last-minute signups.

Developers between the ages of 13 and 17 must also have their tickets purchased by a parent or guardian who is also a member. Tickets are limited to one per person and five per organization.

Like it has done in previous years, Apple is offering scholarships for students to attend WWDC. Students must be at least 13 years old and a member of the iOS developer program. To apply, each student must create an app that’ll showcase their coding skills, background and interests. Apple will be giving away up to 150 tickets to eligible students, and applications must be received by May 2, 2013 at 5:00 pm PDT.

First way: Edit PDF in Adobe Acrobat

1. Open the PDF file

2. Click View tab, and then click Toolbars, choose Advanced Editing

3. Find the Text editing tool in the toolbar list, it is penultimate.

Second Way: Edit PDF in Word

The interest in smart watches picked up last year when a Kickstarter campaign for the Pebble watch earned more than $10 million.

Apple is also said to have a 100-person team working on its own smart watch, a rumored product frequently referred to as a so-called “iWatch.”

Samsung, which is reportedly working on its own smart watch accessory, has already tried and failed to grow the niche market with two products released over the years, neither of which made much of an impact.

Protect specific Cells

Step1, select the cells you want to protect > right click and choose Format Cells.

Step2, Click the Protection in the Custom Lists > check Locked option to protect selected cells. Below the Hidden, you will see a sentence: Locking cells or hiding formulas has no effect until you protect the worksheet. So we go to step3 to set password to protect the worksheet.

Step3, click Review tab > go to Protect Sheet > type password to protect the sheet.

Secure Excel Workbook

First method: From the above image, we will find the Protect Workbook is just next to Protect Sheet, click it > go to Protect Structure and Windows or Restricted Access, which needs a Windows Live ID to register this service. Or use other ways to set password to protect Excel Workbook as below.

Second method: Click Office button > go to Save As > on the Tools menu, click General Options.

• If you want users to enter a password before they can view the workbook, type a password in thePassword to open box, and then click OK.
• If you want users to enter a password before they can save changes to the workbook, type a password in the Password to modify box.

Third method: Just as to set password to protect Word documents, you can also use that way to set password to protect Excel workbook:

Step1, click Microsoft Office button, point to Prepare, then click Encrypt Document.

Step2, in the Password box, type a password, and then click OK.

Step3, in the Reenter password box, type the password again, and then click OK.

Step4, to save the password, save the file.
