There are more and more Word process software that you can make use of, Microsoft Office is the most popular one, but not most of us could have enough budget for its price. So, many online free programs now become common in people’s daily life and work, especially Google’s Drive, which is used to be Google Docs.
You just need a free Google account, you can use it to create new documents, spreadsheets and presentations instantly. Work together at the same time, on the same doc, and see changes as they appear. Of course, you can also download the Google Docs as other file formats like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF, etc. onto your computer.
It is easy. After logging in Google, go to Google Drive and you will see the Create button, many options for choice. Generally, Document created with Google drive can be saved as Microsoft Word, Presentation can be saved as Microsoft PowerPoint, and Spreadsheet can be saved as Microsoft Excel.
Of course, you can also saved all these created files to PDF format if you need.
Google Drive also provides a function to allow uploading a PDF file and downloading as other file formats.
First, upload the PDF file. You can find the upload button next to CREATE button.
Second, open the PDF with Google Docs. Only Google Docs can be saved as other file formats.
Third, download the Google Docs to other file formats. Please note, all uploaded PDF files can be only save as below formats: Microsoft Word (.docx), OpenDocument Format (.odt), Rich Text Format (.rtf), PDF Document (.pdf), Plain Text (.txt), and Web Page (.html, zipped), even the PDF was created from PowerPoint or other files.
Actually, this function works just like a PDF converter, but the conversion quality is not as good as other PDF conversion software – Simpo PDF Converter Ultimate, which supports to convert PDF to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Text, Html and images.
