Recently, Nielsen has corrected results from a study that focused on iPad owners’ app downloading habits. The research group initially stated that two third of iPad users would like to download an app. The adjusted findings now suggest the number is actually closer to nine in ten iPad owners.

The new chart also indicates the breakdown of popular app categories, games, books and music are three most popular paid apps downloaded by iPad users, the respective percentage are 62 percent, 54 percent and 50 percent. That means, over half of respondents would like to download paid e-books in Apple Store.

But iPad cannot support PDF reading directly, you need to download other apps which supports to view PDF files. The most popular paid apps are Good Reader and PDF Reader Pro, the former app cost only $0.99, and allows you to read PDF clearly at will, it’s really the best value.
